About Bella ~ Border Collie (on trial 18/6/2018)
Bella is a beautiful 8 year old Border Collie who is looking for a family that will give her lots of love and attention. She is very affectionate and well trained.
Bella loves a walk each day and knows basic commands like walk, sit, stay and stop. She travels well in the car and loves her beach trips. Bella to come inside when possible and is house trained.
Bella will need regular brushing to keep her coat beautiful and shiny.
Bella doesn’t fret when left alone but is scared of thunderstorms and needs to be let inside to feel safe.
Bella is good with children. She gets along with other dogs however we feel she would be happier at home as an only dog. She hasn’t been exposed to cats or pocket pets.
For more information or to meet Bella, please contact her foster carer Leesa on leesasomerville@gmail.com Bella is in foster care in Belmont, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Bella’s adoption fee is $300 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
