About Maroon ~ Huntaway x Kelpie (on trial 23/12/18)
Meet Maroon! She is an affectionate and gorgeous 3 year old Huntaway x Kelpie with a beautiful silky smooth soft coat. She has a lovable nature and just loves being with her foster family.
Maroon has a very free spirit and loves her daily walks and being out exploring nature. But will also, if invited, smooch up on the lounge with you for a cuddle and a belly scratch. She walks well on a lead and knows basic commands.
Maroon will require high fences as she is a great jumper so she will need at least 6ft+ high fencing. She loves to chew on her chew toys and even loves a good chew on a stick and enjoys a swim on our property dams.
Maroon can be a little shy and timid and will take a little to warm up to you as she didn't have the best start in life but will warm up to anyone as soon as you show her some love and affection. Everyday she comes more and more out of her shell.
Maroon is currently living with 7 other foster dogs, she is very playful and loves wrestling , running around and being chased. This gorgeous girl loves her food, bones and snacks.
She gets on very well with large and small dogs and is fine around pocket pets, birds and chickens.
Maroons is best suited home would be with children over the age of 10 as she can be a very playful girl. She is currently living as an indoor/outdoor dog and sleeps inside as she is house trained. She would also love some doggie company at her new home.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
