Twiggy

3 year old Twiggy is a high energy girl who charms everyone she meets. Intensely curious and with lots of energy, she would suit a home with other dogs, older children, or a family who would have lots of time for her.

She has fitted in really well with her foster siblings, 7 year old Ziggy and 8 year old Georgie, and while she is dominant in an energetic and playful way, she has shown no aggression around beds, toys or food. Her foster Mum and Dad are still teaching her how to last the night through without needing to check out the night-time garden, but she is starting to learn the routines of pet life. Twiggy has mastered open-rise treads on internal steps within one day, and her preferred method is to gallop up them and back down again.

Despite having loads of energy, Twiggy is a show-off when going for a walk, as she hasn't learnt yet to smell every tree or fence post, so she often leads the way, and has learnt not to pull. She's very polite to other dogs that she meets on her walks. She's a girl that loves her soft toys and loves tossing them around for a good play. Her weakness however, is for remote controllers, so she will need to be monitored in her new home to make sure she doesn’t chew other things she is not meant to!

Twiggy loves her food too, and is not fussy in any way. Twiggy is also a lap hound and will leap into your lap on the lounge for a cuddle. This girl is bursting with personality and will make some lucky family, very happy with the decision they decided to adopt a greyhound!
