About Scout
Roses are red, violets are blue, my name is Scout, and I want to meet you. To take me away and give me a home. I promise you’ll never feel alone. I love to play at tug o war, and if you throw it I will chase a ball. I’m a happy dog with never a frown, I love dogs, cats, people, whoever’s around. So come and meet me and you will see, there is no dog as adorable as me.
This lovely boy is Scout. He came from a pound in NSW and has travelled to Qld to start his new life. We are not totally sure what his breed is but the vet seems to think Corgi cross maybe cattle dog and/or Border Collie. He is a small to medium breed weighing 16kgs. He is a very friendly and happy dog who loves people. He has a zest for life and is happy to give you sloppy doggy kisses. He has some basic obedience and will sit and lay down but could do with some more training. He is highly food motivated so training should come easy. He is living with two small dogs and plays really well with one of them. Scout is cat friendly and with the right introduction he would live well in a home with cats. Scout hasn't met any young children whilst in care, but with his happy go lucky playful nature he should be fine with them. He has currently been desexed and is in the process of healing. He would make a great family dog and will love being active with you. He is in foster care in Darra.
