About King
King is a big marshmallow and loves nothing more than snuggles with his people. A perfect day for him would start with an on-lead walk, followed by a feed and then several hours of napping in the sun.
He is fully house trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. He’s a smart boy and very food motivated.
While King is good with other dogs he does carry on like a bit of a pork chop when he sees one so he needs careful introductions. Due to this he won’t be suitable for an adopter that’s looking for a dog park dog. He’s friends with a Maltese and has been introduced to other dogs without issue.
King is good with children but he has been known to knock over smaller kids during play. He’s not a jumper but he is still a big puppy.
As is normal for the breed he loves his people, so he’d do best in a home where he won’t be left alone for extended periods of time. He will also need to be an inside/outside dog and treated as a much loved member of the family.
King would do best with a strong handler who’s experienced with these types of dogs. He’ll benefit from regular group obedience training classes.
If you think you can offer this meathead a wonderful lifelong home please complete the adoption enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website to let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
