Lexy will snuggle her way into your heart. Her quiet approach to weasel her way into your arms so that you cuddle her just ensures she gets instant love. She’s an adorable mature 1-2 year old kelpie/heeler/terrier cross. With the blond eyebrows of a kelpie, body colouring and fluffy tail of a blue heeler, and the size of a fox terrier she is a beautiful patchwork of lovely breeds. She is incredibly good with our 14 month old daughter and lets her cuddle her which most dogs would see as a form of torture as it's a mix of patting, pushing, prodding, poking and kisses.

She has very nice doggy skills, most of which she has picked up lightening fast since she’s been in our care over the last few weeks, so she's a clever wee pup! She sits for a treat, walks very well on a lead, recalls beautifully, is toilet trained and doesn’t bark at home. She gets on well with our heeler x and they snuggle with each other at night. If you are interested in Lexy, there is still some training required to help her feel confident when meeting dogs for the first time. She will growl and bark at dogs that approach her when on a lead, but has improved a lot in a few weeks with us, so with some dedicated training she will be able to overcome her fear.

During the day she has access to an inside corridor and garden, and she’s been hanging out with a 2 year heeler x and they have had a fab time togther. In the evening she is in the house with us. She will need to be part of your everyday life and will be a great companion for you and your family.
