About Rolex
A Rolex watch is supposed to lift your spirt and make you feel good about yourself! Well this Rolex will do just that!
This young man knows the way to your heart. German Shepherds were designed to be companions and boy does Rolex take his job seriously. He just wants to be by your side throughout your day.
His floppy ears are a direct comparison to his nature. He has a very soft temperament and very good natured. His favourite past time in sharing the bed AND pillow with his family! His extra skin on his face is so fun to play with and he enjoys the attention too! He just wants the affection and what male doesn’t want to be doped over!
Rolex is friendly and responsive to all dogs he has met, even the ones that were not friendly. Currently in care, he has not shown much of a will to form bonds with other dogs. He is happy to trot around exploring but play spirit will definitely return once in a stable home environment. With his old partner in crime the would play and rumble the day away. He will want another dog for company but will just warm to them slowly before being besties.
Rolex is learning engagement training and focus. His first session showed so much progress. He wasn’t responsive to sit originally. Now he response to ‘place’ ‘sit’ ‘drop’ ‘stay’ and ‘free’. During training you can see the glow of joy from his face and that tongue is hanging out from his smile. He loves his meat treats now and takes them ever so gently from young hand. On the leash he is still strong but learning his manners on a training collar. His new family will need to ensure they are experiences and understand dog behaviour to continue progressing him into a fine gentleman. He is getting the hang of crate training and now enters his crate freely and is calm and settled in his crate.
Around the house, he is quiet. Happy to be sleeping in his bed or on the floor. Cooking dinner ? Don’t worry he is so well behaved, you can trust he wont jump up and help himself. Rolex will require a home where he is part of the family and allowed in the house when people are home and to sleep. He has experienced this lifestyle in care and there is no way he is going back! He has been around kids for an outing and was very friendly and caring towards them. Car trips, well he jumps in now and is a happy traveller even more so with the windows are open so his ears can flap about! He loves trips to the bush for an adventure!
With all the changes in Rolex’s life he will need patience and understanding to settle in. As part of the adoption process we would like to undertake a staged approach so he forms a familiarity with his new family and surroundings before leaving our care. This will make your life easier and him happier! Rolex will need another dog at home and people around most of the time during his settling in period. Rolex is one of the most gentle souls and is truly very affectionate when invited but so content to be just in your presence. He will require a family that has time for him, to continue his training and involve him in the families lifestyle. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky, as he has already stolen my heart.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
