About Manny ~ Terrier X (on trial 20/6/2018)
This very cuddly 18 month old male Terrier x is Manny. You only have to look into his big brown eyes and you will fall in love with this cutie. Manny is a toilet trained inside dog who loves to just be close and be your little shadow. He loves snuggling up on the lounge and going for walks. Manny will happily sleep on your bed or on a doggy bed next to you.
Manny is good around children and is very human oriented. An ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time as he can become anxious when left alone for too long. Manny is currently in care with a Cattle dog x who he gets along very well with however he would be best suited as an only dog as he enjoys having the attention to himself. He has not been exposed to cats or pocket pets.
Manny will need secure fencing as he will try and escape in search of his humans. He travels well in the car. Manny weighs only 10kg but will need a harness when walking as he can pull and can be reactive in unfamiliar situations. This reactiveness will be minimised once he becomes comfortable and develops a routine.
For more information or to meet this little cutie, please contact his foster carer Erin on iverinadelle@hotmail.com. Manny is in foster care in Fennell Bay, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
Manny’s adoption fee is $600 and will be desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
