About Charlie Chaplin
Charlie Chaplin is a stunning black and white domestic long hair kitten who will turn 8 wees old this Saturday, 9th June. He came from a gorgeous litter of stray kittens who were found near the Ikea at Rhodes. They were rescued and brought into our clinic. We vaccinated and microchipped them and they have flourished in foster care for the last two weeks.
Charlie has a lovely gentle personality. He is a little shy of new people to start with but within a couple of minutes of gentling stroking his back and tickling his chin he will be your best friend. He really loves to play and enjoys wrestling with his litter mates and chasing her toys around. He loes hiding in little boxes and igloos and likes to jump out and chase his own tail :)
He is also very affectionate and loves the company of other cats. He would also be suitable for living with gentle children who understand how to play nicely with cats!
Charlie will be ready for desexing at 12 weeks of age, and must be brought back to the clinic to have this done. This is of course included in his adoption fee. He will be available to adopt from The clinic from Tuesday 12th June.
Please ready the details below carefully for the conditions of Charlie Chaplin's adoption :)
Medical notes
Charlie Chaplin will require monthly flea prevention and 3 monthly worming prevention treatments for life. He will require an annual F3 cat vaccination every year.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Part of our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. Part of that means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting illness or viruses etc. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families, safe from harm :)
