Medical Notes: Hero was hit by a car in December 2017 and suffered a broken leg as a result. It needed to be plated. He has received surgery and several months of treatment to repair his leg, and it is almost fully healed now. He now runs and plays without any sign of impairment.
Way back in December 2017, I found myself without my family and with some pretty serious injuries. Perth Rescue Angels saw a post by a very caring couple of people on a lost and found page, this guy had accidentally hit me with his car, he scooped me up of the road and took me straight to a vet. His partner began the search for my family on Facebook.. they never came...
I went through some serious surgery, a long recovery and with heaps of love and support from my Perth Rescue Angels family, I'm ready to find my forever people. They named me Hero, they said I'd come through so much and had such a bright future ahead, that it was the perfect name. I think that's pretty cool.
Sure, I have some quirks, I'd like to be the only pet in your home, and it's much better if no kids live there (big tall ones are okay coz they'll understand me and my feelings better). Given what I've been through and not knowing where I came from, is this too much to ask? Maybe in time things will change, but for now - what I really need is someone who is willing to give me the time, love and support that I've had so far from these awesome people. They tell me my family is out there, they're just having trouble finding them.
So I thought i'd post for myself, and ask you to please, think of me if you have a home with room for a big heart, and a big personality, and a lot of love to give. If you have a home with backyard, a soft couch, a couple of toys, and just yourselves. If you have a little spare time to help me learn whats right, how to walk realllly well on a leash, how to enjoy every day, maybe even some tricks!? I bet I'm smart enough if you give me time.
Already got a full house? I hear those are nice too, so maybe you could share my post, tell your friends and family about me, your colleagues even? Please help me become a success story. I hear they really make people smile.
