About Hope
Hope has been in care for her whole life, being hand raised from birth, she doesn't know anything but the foster care system. She is hoping someone is coming along soon to meet her and fall in love.
She is a lower energy girl who would be happy to hang out on the lounge and have a brisk walk once a day. She doesn't ask for much, although she would love a home with another dog for both play and companionship.
She is fantastic in the car and loves a car ride; long or short. She is great with young kids and has spent most of her life around them. And she is fantastic with other dogs, no matter the age or size she is social and loving.
She has settled a lot since young puppy hood and is now great inside, well toilet and crate trained, knows her name, recall and basic obedience and is a low walker on the lead and doesn't pull. She has no issues with any food and no dietary requirements and loves to have a bone or two a week.
She has been in foster care with cats, horses and chickens in a coop and isn't phased by them at all.
Her new home will need safe and secure fencing, 6ft and above; free from gaps and holes, and the allowance of letting her inside at night so she can be close to her family. She would suit full time workers if another dog is in the home and she is regularly exercised and socialised but may suit being an only dog if someone was home more often than not or could take her with them a lot of the time.
Hope is located in the Lower Hunter Valley Region and her adoption fee is $400. She is ready to go off to her new home now.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
