About Brenda
Brenda is a bit of a lone wolf, not phased by much and not interested in a lot. But she sure does love her humans. She's had a bit of a rough trot with not being able to leave a yard for two years with a previously sick owner, so the big old wide world is very new to her. Especially being a rural country girl at heart.
Brenda sure did slot herself into foster care with ease, introducing herself nicely to the host and other foster dogs and finding her routine and friends. She has shown to be social with a variety of dogs from young puppies to blind grumpy seniors to other high energy breed dogs and large lazy danes.
She would easily suit a home with another dog of moderate energy, one that can interact and play with her and give her some company with someone isn't home, but she is very easily able to adapt to a home as a very much loved and enjoyed only dog.
She will need to be allowed inside at night, to be a true part of the family and enjoy some relaxing time with her new humans. She is very happy to come and go as she pleases in and out of the house, and she would very much enjoy a home that wants to take her out and about. She sure did enjoy the beach and exploring the open world that she hasn't seen before.
She will need a home that is committed to exercise daily, continued socialisation with both other dogs and humans and a family who is looking to help her spend her remaining years comfortable and cuddled as well as loved of course.
She will need secure and safe fencing, we would suggest over 5ft based on her breed mix but she is very much suitable to rural fencing as per her current foster home
She is best suited to a home WITHOUT pocket pets, poultry, and cats as she is a little too interested in them behind a fence. But she is social with small dogs with no shown prey drive to those.
Being very relaxed, she would easily suit a home with kids, dog savvy of course and understanding that she doesn't want to be harassed. But she has shown to be fine with kids under the age of 5 already.
Brenda is located on the Central Coast and her adoption fee is $350.
