About Percy ED0147
Meet Percy!
This affectionate, easygoing boy is looking for a home to call his own.
Percy was found wandering on a street in Esperance. Sadly he was unclaimed, so he came to SAFE for rehoming.
He has settled in very well with his foster carer and is a playful, loving boy. He adores other dogs, so would suit a home with a medium to large sized female dog to keep him company. He is friendly towards his carers cat, but would need to be introduced slowly to any new cats. They would need to be dog-savvy and not run as he would most likely chase, thinking they want to play.
Percy is very quick to learn new things and already has most commands mastered. He’s housetrained and is a little scared of loud noises like hairdryers, anything he’s not sure of.
He loves people, and we would recommend that as a bigger dog he goes to a home with older children (8+).
Percy has a favourite green rope toy that he loves to play with constantly, and when he’s tired himself out will put himself to bed. He also loves chew toys and bones. He loves waking at the beach and being able to explore, he’s very good at fetching, and loves to play with other dogs, whether small or big. He also loves to snuggle on the couch afterwards with his human, and snores when sleeping.
His ideal home will have high, secure fencing. He needs a family who will include him in outings and activities and have time to spend with him to make sure he’s a great all round family dog. Puppy school would be a great place for him to socialise and learn new skills. We would like him to go to a family that have experience with large breed dogs, and he will need to have an area inside to sleep at night.
If Percy sounds like the boy for you, please send an enquiry and we will be in touch soon!
