About Pippa Kabito
Pippa Kabito is a senior girl who needs a home with another dog and people not working full time. She has such a gentle and sweet disposition. She is good on lead, currently using a Sporn harness, although she prefers not to mix with other dogs she does not know. Her downfall is she loves you too much. She has separation anxiety unless she is living with another dog– she is not destructive or does not try to escape but she will howl. She would be great in a home with a retired couple and another dog who are not out at work. She does not bark or howl if she has the company of another dog. She is trained to use a dog door. She is relaxed about food. She will bark when strangers enter the house.
She is extremely clever and loves learning new tricks. She is obedient off leash unless she sees a skateboarder or bike. She has lacked some socialisation and is initially quite nervous around new dogs and would be best suited to an older quiet male dog. She has been spending a lot of time with a senior male lab.
Her current family have had her four years and before that she was moved around quite a bit. Pippa Kabito would love the security of a home with people who will keep her for the rest of her life.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. Priority will also be given to typed applications which are easier for us to read and to copy relevant parts.
