About Lucy - Meet and Greet organised
Meet sweet gentle Lucy who is a 15 month old desexed semi coated Grey sable German Shepherd in care at Hornsby.
Lucy has had two homes in her short life both through no fault of her own. So we are looking for a committed family who will continue with her socialisation and training.
This gentle playful young girl would be an amazing dog for an active family or couple who would ensure she has regular exercise and inclusion in the home.
Lucy has been desexed and fully immunised and is on heart worm prevention.
Lucy is a beautiful car traveller and would love the attention of dog savvy children to play with her or be a companion dog for an active single person home. Due to her high prey drive she is not suited to a home with cats or small dogs, pocket pets.
Lucy is receiving daily training, lead work and is now voice responsive to commands she will require a secure yard.
For more information on Lucy please contact Linda on 0497 398 062.
Medical notes
Lucy is desexed, fully immunised is on heart worm prevention and recently wormed and flea treated.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
