About Choco
Choco is a happy outgoing Toy Poodle who loves everyone and is very enthusiastic about life.He bonds very quickly to both men and women and will make for a devoted close companion pet. He was surrendered as his previous owner was rarely home and wanted him to have the love and company he deserves.
Choco is toilet trained, travels well in the car,is good to groom and good at the Vets. He is very well behaved inside and is super quiet. He weights 4kg and will need clipping at the grooming salon 6 times per year.
Choco loves, loves, loves his "Walkies" and will happily trot along beside you at a brisk pace. He is "Dog Social" meaning he is happy to make new doggie friends at the park.
In summary, this boy is something special,he is a pleasure to have in the home and is the sweetest company.
Choco is very healthy and active. His main physical aliment is he has lost most of his sight. He doesn't let this worry him. When he first arrived at his foster carers home he spent two hours wondering around and had mapped out the whole house. Within this short period of time,he was letting himself out through the dog door, down steps and into the yard for toileting and back into the house with no issues.
These Toy poodles have a very long life span,so its not unusual for them to live into their late teens and even hit twenty. As a result we consider him middle aged with lots of life left to live. This boy is not just a lap dog but is a great life companion and will be keen to join you out and about at cafes, visiting friends etc.
Choco was still available on 13th June. If you can offer him a wonderful life, please call Robyne to discuss.
Update:
Choco went to see the eye specialist on 12th June and unfortunately his sight cannot be restored via surgery. We were very sad at this news but know that he will go on to live a full and happy life regardless. Thank you for your interest and well wishes.
Medical notes
Choco had a "Dental"(teeth clean under anesthetic) performed on Tuesday 5th June.He had several rotten teeth that were extracted. He has recovered well from the surgery and is such a little trooper!
