About Alistair
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Alistair came from the pound a skinny, scrawny wreck and his foster carer was worried about him initially because every bone in his body could be counted as he was so painfully thin. Alistair has now turned the corner and his true personality is blossoming in his foster home. He is being fostered with a young child and a baby and his carer said he is astounding around children and is just beautiful with them. Alistair is not a digger, barker, or biter and is an extremely kind and gentle dog. He is enjoying his food and his foster carer is enjoying fattening him up. He also loves pats and any attention you are prepared to hand out to him. Alistair is learning how to walk on a lead, something that he has not enjoyed doing before we think. His carer said that he enjoys looking at his new handsome self in the full length mirror in her bedroom (after he realises it's not another dog and just his own reflection!) he often takes himself into the bedroom and sits looking at himself which his carer finds very amusing! alistair had to be clipped off completely as his coat was in a disgusting state but it will grow back quickly and then require regular brushing and clipping to keep it in good condition. He is a house dog and would love a home with another small dog for company if his owners are at work all week. Alistair comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. If you would like more information on alistair or to arrange to meet him, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption. Listed 20 january
