Can you offer Jonty a holiday home for 2 weeks from July 14th? He is a Forever Foster with DFL and will return to his permanent carer after his little holiday with you.

Jonty is a precious soul who is dear to our rescue. Although he isn't elderly at 5 years old, ongoing health conditions mean he is very much like a geriatric dog. Jonty is blind and also needs daily medication. His regular foster mum will be able to provide you with all the information you need to look after Jonty during his holiday stay.

Jonty is a very loving little dog, once he chooses his person! He loves to cuddle up and nap, and is a good little companion. He likes to wrestle with toys in short bursts, and is a cheeky wee fellow. He can be nervous of new people and he likes other chilled-out dogs, he isn't comfortable with high energy ones. As he doesn't like to be left at home alone, he should really be with his people, or safe doggy companions, at all times.

Despite his health issues, Jonty is a happy little dog. He loves dinner, enjoys short walks, plays with toys, and loves nothing more than a warm lap to nap on. (Napping is a big theme here!!) While he is quite young, he really has the day to day needs of a very old dog. We are working to keep him warm, comfortable and pain free while he enjoys his life.
