Butters is a sweet big goofball with an overbite (the cutest thing when he smiles). He is very affectionate and will press his whole body into you for cuddles and nuzzle you if you stop patting him. Whilst he loves human affection, he is also quite chilled out and can easily be left by himself with no problem. He won my heart when I started to play with him; as he loves gently holding your arm with his whole mouth, which makes me laugh. He is also very playful and gentle with his foster siblings, who is much smaller, but still acts like she is the boss.

Butters is a smart dog that can be easily trained. He can sit, drop and shake hands; and also jumps into the car with ease. We are currently working on the command stay. He can have selective hearing at times and when he doesn’t listen or you get upset with him, he understands what is happening and gives you the cutest puppy eyes and constantly gives out his paw to shake. He is quite good on the leash and would be an excellent walking partner.
