Banjo

This handsome guy is an independent soul who prefers to observe the world from a safe distance until he has it sussed out. He accepts pats and stroking from humans when he is tired but prefers not to be picked up when it's play-time. Alfalfa is an excellent soccer player (ping-pong version) and also likes playing with dangly toys. His favourite snoozing place is the top of a cat tree where he can bask in the sun and watch the world until he is ready to play again. Alfalfa would prefer a quiet family in a home with places to retreat to when he is feeling unsure, but once he gets to know his humans he will move in closer, especially if bribed with tidbits of roast chicken. In the evening Alfalfa loves to curl up on the heated throw next to his human for a pat and a snooze and will show his pleasure with a lovely deep purr. He has been around older children and, given time and space, would be fine with children who are calm and gentle with him.
