About Orpheus
Hi my name is Orpheus.
Our foster parents think that we may be a Boston terrier, ridgeback and kelpie or german pinscher mix but we are no sure. They think we'll grow up to be a medium size breed. By the time we get picked up we should have our DNA results.
I am the smallest guy out of the litter. I am very fast and love to have fun! I only really have two speeds - not moving or full speed. I love to go fast snd sprint around the yard. I love playing and exploring and hanging out with my humans. I love to snuggle up with my foster parents and follow them around. Also at full speed! I also love my adult foster siblings - I play with them and follow them wherever I can. And still being a baby I love snuggeling with my siblings - in fact I'm very attached to my sister. I like to have a warm comfy bed and when the other chill outside I usually go inside in the crate to crash there. I also am very confident so will need someone how can guide me growing up. I can get a bit carried away when playing as you do when you're full of beans. Like any puppy I still jump and bite eveything and everyone as that's how we explore the world. We are all very switched on and learned how to use the doggy door with 5 weeks already!

Adoption details
If you should choose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue:
You will be asked to complete an adoption application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog is suited to your circumstances. Some dogs have special needs so we are looking for the perfect forever home for all of our dog's needs.
After you have completed and returned the adoption application we decide if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next, we will arrange for you to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that bring along your family and any other animals you have in your household. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
The adoption fee must be paid before any of our animals are released from our care.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if you have any issues with your chosen dog/puppy you must contact SEQ K9 Rescue via text immediately.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to the rescue organisation, the adoption fee minus a $50 non-refundable deposit will be refunded. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the pet is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the animal. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If an animal is to return from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue in Brisbane.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
