About Tabatha the beautiful black cat
Hi, I'm Tabatha. I never know what to say on these sites...
I guess I could tell you how I ended up in Frankston pound. But it wasn't my fault. I don't know what happened. I didn't like it there at all. I'm pretty shy and get nervous around lots of other cats. I wasn't doing very well at all but a then one day, a lady came and I was put into a small box with a front door and little air vents and she put me in her car and talked softly to me (she was saying some pretty nice things and calling me beautiful girl).
Then, we arrived at a house and the lady let me out of the box with the door and there was food and water and soft beds and toys! And the lady even let me up on the couch to sit with her when I was feeling a bit unsure of everything.
I've been here a few weeks now and I love being with the lady. She's nice and quiet and I feel really safe. There are windows for me to look out (bloody birds) and she always gives me good food and lets me sleep on her bed. I do my best to keep her warm by snuggling up against her back or behind her legs. She pats me and scratches under my chin which I love. It feels so nice to be loved and cared for...
The lady told me that this is just a holiday house and that soon, my 'real' Mum or Dad will be arriving to take me to my forever home. She promises that she is going to check out this new Mum or Dad and make sure that they are purrfect. She knows I get nervous around other cats so she's going to make sure they don't have any of them at their house and know that I will be their only cat.
I feel really excited to meet you! Wherever you are! I know you'll come for me when it's the right time.
Also - did I mention that the lady always tells other people how my personality is really nice and that I have a sweet and gentle nature? I think it's so nice of her to say that.
