About George
G'day, George is my name and I'm a BIG, handsome boy - think panther!
I'm super affectionate with a definite playful side - a good day for me consists of a hearty breakfast, followed by lots of adventures and exploration around the house with my brother Sootie. When you get home from work, I'll rush to meet you (not *only* cos I'm hungry, sheesh) and snuggle into you happily when you pick me up to say hello.

MY IDEAL HOME: Because I'm so relaxed, I think I'd do really well in a home with resident cats or a friendly dog, or as a solo cat. Either way - it doesn't take much to make me purr!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Given the choice, I'd probably prefer to laze around all day (don't tell Sootie!). But an invigorating play every now and then is definitely good for the spirit!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm a gentle, easygoing kind of guy, so I think I'd be very patient with kids - as long as they're kind to me, of course!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: It's been awesome having Sootie by my side, so I'd definitely be keen for feline company in my new home. I've spent a little time with dogs, and I don't mind them either!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
