About Bear
Bear is a lovable happy, playful 9 year old senior. We have been asked to help find him a new home urgently (he needs a place to move to by June 8th). He was adopted from the pound several years ago as a Samoyed X or Malamute X, whichever it is he’s just a gorgeous huggable Bear with lots of love and happy days left in this boy.
A little about Bear .... he loves playing tug of war and splashing in the water so if you have a kiddie pool he would be in heaven. He loves long walks especially along the beach where he can run in the water although never off leash, he can pull a bit at first but only from excitement, he soon calms down.
He loves to be with his humans and he sleeps inside at night. He is fully house trained and loves his treats especially dental sticks.
Bear is good with kids, having shared the house with a boy who is now 5. He has been living with a female Staffy for the last 3years, and he will tell her off when he has had enough of playing. Bear would like to meet with any current dogs if you have one to ensure it’s a good match for him. He would also be quite happy to be an only dog so he can have all the attention to himself.
Bear has a thick coat and must be maintained with regular brushing to keep it looking good and free from matting.
Bear is well loved but due to no fault of his own he needs a new home where he will be well cared for and love him just as much.
If you can offer this senior boy a loving home please send an email to contact@homesforhuskies.org.au for further details or send an adoption or Foster application found on our website www.homesforhuskies.org.au
No cats or pocket pets for this boy as he has a high prey drive. Secure fencing required.
Bear is fully vetworked!
