About Lilly
Rescue Hub saved lovely Lilly from Hawkesbury Pound at the end of April. She was in an appalling condition with mange covering her little body, which is now on the mend. Her professional images were taken on the 22nd of May, and she is looking better each and everyday with daily antibiotics and Malesab baths. We will keep updating her profile with newer images when we can.
Despite her rough start to life, Lilly is an affectionate and sweet young girl, who absolutely loves people with a passion. She is toilet trained, and can sit and shake already, but she would love a human to work with her and teach her so much more. With a bit of exercise and mental stimulation daily, Lilly is calm and a real snuggle-bug, just wanting to be around any human who will give her attention, but is also fine with being left alone.
Lilly loves to play with other dogs, but she does need a slow introduction as she learns to be a dog again with a new zest for life.
Her ideal home would be someone who can spend some time to give her some basic obedience training, give daily exercise and warm bed at night. At 9 months old she is still a puppy and since her mange has started clearing up she is beginning to learn what it is like to be a puppy again.
If you are interested in fostering or adopting Lilly, please fill in the form below and a member of Rescue Hub will be in touch. Lilly’s adoption fee is $350 which includes desexing, vaccination and microchipping. Thanks to our supportive followers, we raised the money to cover her vet work to rid Lilly of mange.
