About Marcello
This is MARCELLO a young good natured boy who is very affectionate and loving with his humans, and great friends with the other dogs in his foster home .
Marcello is very intelligent and easy to train. He is toilet trained, travels well in the car, walks on leash and has his basic commands. He can sit, stay, come and sits and waits for his dinner. He is medium energy, loves to run and play but is also a bit of a lounge lizard and doesn't need constant entertainment when you are home.
We are pretty sure that Marcello has Greyhound, Short haired Pointer and probably Bull Arab in his mix, but cannot be certain of this as he is a rescue dog. He weighs around 28kg and is quite strong but he is not boisterous with his humans. He can be quite gentle with his humans and we don't find him hard to handle.
Marcello is looking for a home where he will be part of the family living as an inside/outside dog. His new family will be mature & experienced dog owners committed to his on-going training and socialisation, to giving him the guidance he needs to reach his full potential as a loyal family pet.
Marcello must have another dog in his new home, to play with but also for company when his family is out. As he is quite a tall dog and strong, and as he can play rough with his doggy friends Marcello would like a dog his own size or larger as his doggy companion in his new home.
If you would like more information about Marcello, please contact Pound Rescue and they will put you in touch with his carer. All our dogs have a two week trial period in their new home.
Please note that Marcello hasn't yet met any cats or other small mammals.
