Nature
Kabi is one of four kittens rescued from a colony residing on a vacant lot that is soon to be developed. As she has had little human interaction, Kabi is still wary of her foster carer, but she is somewhat confident and can be easily enticed into play. She will even run all over her foster carer to catch a toy, forgetting that she’s meant to dislike humans. Kabi also reacts the most positively to slow, gentle pats and scratches, and will tip her chin for her carer to get the right spot. She has no reservations eating from her carer’s hands, and tends to end up with more treats than the others. While she doesn’t like to be picked up, she hasn’t been aggressive and has kept her claws to herself. All of this should improve once she has consistent, one-on-one attention from someone dedicated to winning her over.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Kabi has met other cats, as well as a dog, through the door to her room, and she hasn’t been phased by any of them. Kabi hasn’t met any children and would need a slow, gentle introduction to them once she’s found her paws in a new home.
Likes / Dislikes
Aside from her background, Kabi is a pretty typical kitten. She likes to play, eat and sleep, and the vacuum is the thing of nightmares. Playing endlessly and hand-feeding her ham and chicken is the way to her heart. Kabi eats wet food morning and night, and has free access to dry biscuits to graze on during the day. She is well balanced kitten, enjoying both play and affection (from her feline friends), and her beautiful golden eyes will mesmerise even the hardest of hearts. She’ll make a gorgeous companion in the right home.
