Felix

Felix is a great little chap, who just enjoys life to the full. He loves playing with his sister and the other pups in care, and is a naturally obedient and cooperative fellow. Felix loves his bush walks, and like his sister is very responsible, staying within calling distance when he is exploring and coming back very nicely when he is called. He is learning to walk on the lead and is quite good, just a little bit of winding around occasionally but no pulling. He is doing well with housetraining, but still needs to be taken outside regularly, although he goes through the night to the early morning. Felix is growing up so nicely and is a pleasure to have around.

Felix was born in the remote South Australian Community of Fregon on the APY lands, and was being cared for by a local worker before he came to us for rehoming with his sister and another pup. Unfortunately it became obvious that she had a clotting disorder when she was de-sexed, and testing indicated that she had eaten rat bait. He has been fully treated for that over a month and that problem is now resolved. Felix will make a great family dog, and would be a good friend for another playful friendly dog, as he is very experienced with people of all ages and other dogs.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Felix's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Felix is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
