Angelina

Angelina is a lovely playful and friendly pup. In the time we have had her we have got to know her very well and she has really settled into the routine in foster care. Angelina loves her bush walks and off lead time, loves to play with her toys and the other dogs, and has a friendly, relaxed, outgoing personality. Having grown up for the first few months in a community, she is used to being around people of all ages, and also used to the company of other dogs. She has excellent dog manners, and is a loving happy little soul. She is doing well with house training, and gets through the night fine, but still needs to be taken out regularly. She is also quite good at walking on the lead and coming back to her name or a whistle.

She was born in the remote South Australian Community of Fregon on the APY lands, and was being cared for by a local worker before she came to us for rehoming with a couple of other pups. Unfortunately it became obvious that she had a clotting disorder when she was de-sexed, and testing indicated that she had eaten rat bait. She has been fully treated for that over a month and that problem is now resolved. Angelina would make a great family dog, and would be a good friend for another playful friendly dog. She is a naturally obedient girl who really wants to please and be part of a family.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Angelina's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Angelina is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
