✨🌷 MEET KIMBERLEY 🌷✨
Hi, I'm Kimberley. I've come a very long way since arriving at PRA. I was a mess when I was found, my coat was dirty and matted, I was underweight and didn't like humans AT ALL!. The old me used to hiss and swipe and hide away in the corner all day long. These days I’m a happy, gorgeous older lady.
Nature
I am still apprehensive of people and strange as it may be after three years in foster care, I still do not like to be touched; it freaks me out! I am a happy cat and have full run of my foster home along with numerous other foster kitties and we all get on just fine.
I will need a family that is willing to give me lots of love, patience and time, I may need six months or more to build trust again starting over in a new home.
I'm always around talking to my foster mum and sometimes just sometimes I forget and will rub on foster Mum’s leg, but then I remember, and I freak myself out hahah. I will always greet you at mealtime, I love mealtime! I get along well with other cats, and I can usually be found happily curled up next to one of my comfy fur buddies sleeping the day away and thinking about how much better my life is now. I am not the playful type of cat, I don’t play with toys at all, toys and noise do give me the creepies!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be best suited to a very quiet household with older children/teens and adults, small children and noisy households would be too overwhelming and scary for me. Another friendly confident cat companion to keep me company would be fabulous, but make sure a slow introduction to each other. I have not met any dogs, the neighbour’s dogs bark loudly and I do not like that at all.
Likes/Dislikes
I love food! I like having wet food morning and night and all-day biscuits to nibble on. I enjoy snuggling with the other cats in my foster home to pass the day. I don’t like pats just yet.
My PURR-fect home would be a quiet home with mature humans, where I can be myself and sleep away the hours in the safety of my bed. A home where you understand that you may never be able to touch me or pat me and I will always be cautious and move away from you if you approach me. I would need a friendly cat companion in my new home to help me feel safe and not feel alone.
