About Hal Jordan
Hi there I'm Hal Jordan, but you might know me better as my alter-ego, the Green Lantern. Or if you're not into DC comics, you might not know me at all!
I have all sorts of important jobs to do, what with protecting the galaxy and being able to fly even in the vaccuum of space. But THE most important job I'm ever going to do is going to be to love my family with all my heart. And let me tell you, it's a pretty big heart!
I'm the sweetest little guy you'll ever find and I just need someone to fall in love with me. I've had a pretty eventful life, being born on the streets and trying to fend for myself until a lovely person started putting food out for me so encourage me to stay around. Eventually I was caught and taken to the pound and now here I am in rescue!!
I love head rubs and scratches behind the ear. I also like eating, playing, and hanging out with other kitties. At first I'm frightened by sudden movements or someone too loud or in my face. But as soon as I trust you, I'm the sweetest little guy you've ever met.
Also did I mention how gosh darn handsome I am??
I'm going to be a super-floofer when I'm grown up so you'll need to be willing to brush me to keep me handsome.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
