About Nutmeg (on trial adoption)
This petite 12 month old is NUTMEG a Red Stumpy Tail Heeler. Nutmeg is a typical loyal cattle dog who is glued to you and loves to be by your side. She's a very affectionate girl and makes a great lap dog.
Nutmeg also likes playing with her doggy friends, enjoys chasing the ball and a game of rope tug. Nutmeg is obedient and walks well on the lead. Nutmeg enjoys lots of attention so would be ok to go to an only dog home or a home with another dog. Either way Nutmeg will make a wonderful companion.
This lovely girl is looking for a home where she will be part of the family living as an inside/outside dog and joining in family activities. She would like a bit of exercise each day and lots of love and cuddles from her humans.
Nutmeg is in foster care in the Windsor area of Sydney. All our dogs have a two week trial period in their new home.

If you are interested in meeting one of our animals we would love to hear from you.
Please email us at poundrescue@yahoo.com with a brief description of the family home you can offer - the number of adults and children in the home, other pets, how long the animal would be left on its own each day, whether your fencing is secure and so on.
Please then follow up with a phone call to Mariette on 0404491918 or Debra on 0412 698 117 and we will put you in touch with the animal's foster carer.
If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
