About Buddha
BUDDHA loves water, going for walks and humans who have lots of time for him. He is still a pup not yet 2 years old, but is a quick learner and tries to make the right choices.
In late 2018 Buddha was fortunate to be gifted a board & training program with the team at Pet Resorts Terrigal & Canine Evolution. This has been a great help to teach the foundations, we look forward to finding someone to adopt Buddha who can continue this training.
Buddha can be stubborn when he wants to be, and does need a strong human leader to be clear & consistent with behaviour and boundaries. And you've got to be comfortable with bulldog slobber 😂 he does like to give big kisses with lots of tongue 👅
Buddha would love a nice big backyard at his new home, but it's also important that he sleeps inside at night and can be inside in the air-conditioning on hot days.
Breed: Male Australian Bulldog (possible X with a cattle dog?)
Kids: Aged 12+ preferred
Dogs: Buddha has had limited socialisation and will be best as the only dog in his new home
Cats: Not good

Medical notes
Buddha is microchipped, desexed and up to date with vaccinations.
It is important that Buddha is fed Blackhawk 'fish & potato' kibble for good skin & gut health.
One of Buddha's front legs in bowed, this has been xrayed and medical advice suggests one of his front leg bones grew faster than the others - but that it isn't causing him any concern and a surgical procedure would do more harm than good.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
