About Misty
Misty is a shy girl, or lets just say reserved so she doesn't get too self conscious. She does enjoy pats and snuggles though but being picked up; this is a no no.
She doesn't get aggressive, just uncomfortable so we want to make sure her new family are understanding of this straight up.
We aren't quite sure what this girls life has been like before us, but being from the outback of Broken Hill. We would assume just another number in the radar of cats. She was lucky to have her kittens and herself saved by a local vet clinic where they were hand raised and interacted with before arriving into foster care. With two of her kittens still waiting for their home and herself, we hope someone is looking for a beautiful girl to care for.
Misty being a little more reserved than the rest would do best in an indoors only home so she can feel safe and secure within her boundaries. She may suit a home with another cat, but she does enjoy her own space. She has shown to be social with two other adults, and her kittens whilst in care but doesn't seem to want to interact with a male cat who is also in care and the feeling seems to be mutual.
We would say if she was rehomed with another feline that her new home understand that it will take time and patient for both sides.
Misty has met some dogs and was quite unsure of them, she may suit a non reactive or caring dog who is social with flighty cats other wise she would do fine in a home as a very much loved only pet.
She is social with young kids and people and is loving to pats and cuddles on the lounge.
Misty is located in the Cessnock area and her adoption fee is $150.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
