About Bob (AV1022)
SUPER-SPUNK ALERT! Foster or adopt!
Are you ready? Are you set? Get ready and get set because here's Bob!
Bob, as you can see, is pretty gosh darn handsome. He's also pretty gosh darn awesome.
Bob is a short and stocky fella, a whole lotta personality in one little, totally ripped package (seriously, I think this pup has been spending his free time at the gym!)
Like any young staffy who hasn't had a lot of training, Bob is full on. He's got an amazing grin and he loves to meet new people - but be prepared for slobbery kisses and a lot of crazy excitement!
Bob needs a new family who want to put the time into him to reap the rewards of an awesome dog. He is high energy and easily distracted so he will benefit from attending formal training, in addition to training at home. He'll need a decent walk every day to keep him fit and wear him out, as well as kongs and other enrichment toys to keep his brain active.
Bob's enthusiasm means that he won't suit very young children as he's likely to bowl them over. Older kids should be fine.
At this stage, we don't know a lot about Bob's feelings towards other dogs. He's generally curious but in-your-face. He has not been cat tested. He is also currently recovering from having the big snip, so he's got stitches in.
At this stage, we are preferring to place Bob in a home where he's the only dog, however we may consider a home with a calm, sensible female dog (pending a meet and greet).
If you can offer Bob a temporary - or, better yet, forever - home, please contact us today. If you are interested in adoption, please be aware that the adoption fee is $410 inc desex, microchip, vaccination.
We will need to see photos of your yard so please have some available. Best contact is via email, avonvalley@safe.org.au or message the facebook page. We can also be contacted on 0409 000 259.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
