Rusty

Hi! my name is Rusty! I am a sweet lovable little boy and I am told I have both brains and beauty. I just about know my name but I almost have it! Funnily enough, I know how to sit before my breakfast and dinner arrives and I know how to shake my paw for a treat, which I think most other pets have it the other way around. I am a very curious little guy when it comes to the human world, and I really want to learn more English vocabulary.

I guess I am very versatile since I would be perfect for both first time dog parents or experienced dog parents. At the moment I am sharing a foster home with my doggy friend Ginger, she really has a lot of beans and I play with her to amuse her and teach her manners but I could also be the only dog in the family too, it's completely up to you!
At first I may seem timid and quiet but soon enough when I can feel your love I will come out of my shell and smother you with snuggles and kisses. I love play time!! I can flip my favorite balls into the air and play with myself with my toys, but I do love when other people play with me too and teach me how to fetch properly. I love chewing my toys like my rope as it comforts me, I even enjoy chewing carrots and playing with them.

My foster carers don't think I have been walked much at all, but I don't pull them on the lead, I gently sniff and walk beside them. Besides, I have not much strength even if I was too pull, but that's not me, I am too gentle and kind, I will even let you dress me.
At the moment I am an indoor dog, and I almost have toilet training perfected but I will get it really soon I just know it. I don't particularly like showers /baths but a little boy has to do what a little boy has to do to be allowed on the furniture at home.

I have so much love and affection to give you if you give me the chance to be your friend. We could have so much fun together like watching me trying to open door handles, or me trying to understand what dogs on the tv are saying. We could even be best friends!
