About Billie
Billie, Bill, Billie Boy, B Boy... whatever you want to call him... he’s happy just to have your attention! Billie is happiest if he can follow his family around and be involved in EVERYTHING! He’s a loyal, happy, loving kind of guy who just wants to be somebody’s best buddy, pal and companion. Billie is an inside dog and this is NOT negotiable! He falls in love fast and completely! He loves snuggling on the couch, sleeping wherever he wants, spending his time focussed on his family and generally being the centre of his family’s attention.
Billie has lived a rather charmed life and coming into care was extremely overwhelming for him. Thankfully, that allowed us to see first hand, this little man does not always cope well with change! He will need a family that truly understands this and will not set him up to fail. Billie can be quite a reactive little man and requires a family that will help him navigate his way through experiences
he perceives as alarming.
Billie is not for the novice dog family but instead would ideally suit a relaxed, easygoing experienced owner. Socialisation and introduction to new experiences and stimulus will be THE key to Billie’s future happiness. He would best suit a person, a couple or a family looking for a companion. He wants to go out in the car, on holidays and be inside or outside whenever you are.
Billie has now settled well into care and is anxious ways have eased. He will only continue to blossom with gentle guiding, socialisation and introduction to all kinds of new experiences a caring family can offer him.
Billie would be very happy with a playful canine companion to share his life with... and he is cat friendly!!
He is a sturdy guy who enjoys, and will need, a good daily walk to keep him trim, taught and terrific.
Billie is currently in care in Echuca, which is three hours north of Melbourne. He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea free.
