About Rocky DB065
Meet Rocky!
Rocky is a lovely heeler boy who is seeking a forever home! With his humans, he is affectionate, cuddly and sweet. He is a quick learner and an all round happy dog! Rocky can be wary of children as they make him nervous, but a home with adults or teenagers would be perfect! Ideally, we’d love to see him in a home familiar with the breed who understand how cattle dogs “work”.
Rocky does currently live with a female Staffy. At home, they love to cuddle and hang out, and he definitely likes his best bud! Once he gets to know a dog, he is quite calm and happy to chill.
He is lead reactive around strange dogs and will need an owner willing to work with this. Rocky has worked with trainers over the last year and improved, but it is a process that requires consistency and confidence building to continue. His reaction is fear based, so he will need a confident owner to work with him and help him gain confidence.
Rocky could live with a similarly sized female dog pending introduction or on his own if his humans are home most of the time.
