About Bonnie
Hello, humans, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Bonnie and I have 9 years young. I am looking for a family to love me for the rest of my days.
I came into foster care after I was handed into the pound as a stray. OTC thought I was just beautiful so worked hard to save me, and my foster mother says she is happy they did, because I have been nothing but delightful since being in care.
Being an older lady, I just love to spend my days sun baking and napping. I am extremely friendly and loving and will love to have a family to snuggle up to. I love pats and ear scratches, as any old girl does.
I have a sweet, adoring nature and you won't be able to help falling in love with me.
Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the cats. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the cat at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the cat get along- you have the option of either taking the cat on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the cat on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the cat, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold cats for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the cat, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to kittens under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the cat. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the cat for a week- the day you collect the cat you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
