About Maple
The amount of times we have been asked if Maple has been stung by bees is beyond us! But it certainly does bring the focus and conversation onto this beautiful girl.
A long termer at the pound before she arrived into care, Maple settled very easily into foster care when she realised a warm house and bed were included in the package of safety.
And since then we have been getting to know this girl and oh my isn't she fun!
Maple LOVES other dogs and also cats and will benefit from a home with another dog to be both company and playmanship. She really does well with other dogs who love to have rest time as she isn't very active. In saying that, she would enjoy a daily adventure out and about to keep her social and active. Both mentally and physically.
Maple is very sweet in nature but can be a little shy on first approach. She is very loving to both male and female owners and shows to love her foster dad a little more.
Good with food she isn't fussy or overly focused on food and will eat appropriately without rush.
She would do well with a high quality diet to make sure her health and coat stay well maintained.
Maple has met some kids and was fantastic with cuddly and friendly children so a home that has some dog savvy and nice children would suit her well
She will need to be allowed inside at night to be included in the family and kept warm. She is also well crate trained and would take comfort in continuing that in her new home also but this isn't a set requirement for adoption.
She will need nice and secure fencing, of at least 5ft and free from any gaps and holes. She hasn't shown to be a jumper but she may dig if stressed.
She would do well with someone home a little more than others as she really does love human company and has shown that long hours away from them could stress her out.
Maple is ready for her new home now and is located in the lower hunter valley area. Her adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
