About Stumpy
Stumpy is the new kid on the block and what a stunner he is! How could you not love those adorable chubby cheeks, the exaggerated puppy-dog eyes or gorgeous head tilt!
Just a puppy, Stumpy is the ultimate all-rounder - he loves other dogs, cats, people and children, although he can be a little bit shy at first meetings. He gives great cuddles to his humans and will happily learn new tricks so long as you have treats on offer. He's mastered sit already, and is currently working on waiting for his dinner, coming when called and shaking paws. Apart from his dinner, his favourite treats are apple pieces (no seeds), carrot and ice cubes!
Stumpy has a lovely, balanced personality - sometimes excited and playful, sometimes shy and timid, and other times, well...asleep. In fact he really enjoys his sleep and can often be found snuggling up to his fur foster sister in bed.
Stumpy enjoys playing with his fur foster sister quite a lot - they run around and play fetch together, then find something to chew or a spot to dig. If you had a plastic clam-shell full of dirt or sand, Stumpy would enjoy digging in there to find treats or toys. He also loves his daily walks and short runs, and is improving on the lead each day.
Stumpy would need to be allowed inside the house to be with his family, especially at night-time as he's only young. A medium-sized yard and average 5ft fences will be sufficient to keep him happy and safe at home. Whilst not mandatory, Stumpy would benefit from having a friendly fur sibling who can teach him how to grow into a well-rounded dog (and allow him to be the 'little spoon' in bed).
If you'd like to meet our little Stumpy nugget in person, get in touch with Precious Paws quickly. This little guy won't be around for long!
