About Barry ๐
Do you have a soft spot for senior dogs? Looking for an affectionate companion to spend your days with? Let us tell you more about Barry.....
Barry arrived in care at the age of 11 years. Whilst it has been a big adjustment for him, he has settled into his foster home beautifully. He is currently in care with 6 other dogs (small and medium size/all ages), 2 sheep and chickens. Barry is super friendly with both people and other dogs and has learnt since coming into care, that sheep are also his friends.
Barry isn't currently living with children, but copes well with older children who are respectful of dogs. He does not tolerate young children poking his eyes, pulling his tail and climbing all over him.
This gorgeous boy does not act his age....he will alert you when he hears unfamiliar sounds, walks great on leash (and loves his walks), is playful and loves soft toys, has not shown any dominance with other dogs, nor has he shown any food aggression while in care.
Barry has been living both inside and outside as part of the family, along with his furry friends and just loves the attention he gets from his humans. He would ideally suit an older couple/person who is home most of the time or family with older children. Barry would cope well in a home where he had another doggie friend or as an only dog, as long as he had the attention from his humans.
This beautiful boy deserves a forever home โค๏ธ๏ธ
If you're looking for that 4 legged friend, companion or soul mate....Barry is your boy!
Barry is located in Wyee Point, on the Central Coast NSW and will be available for a meet as soon as his foster parents can organise it.
