About Louie Augustus Kabito
What a great dog Louie is - loyal and full of personality. He loves his humans and loves having canine company. He needs a buddy - whether human or canine. He's eager to please and loves to play. A staffy x kelpie - he has the best of both breeds. He's intelligent, loyal, loving, obedient, excitable, happy. He talks like a staffy - that 'wooooohhh', and has the obedient responsive intelligent nature of the kelpie. He will observe a game and pick it up quickly. Although he's a bit uncoordinated with catching a ball, he will chase and grab one to entice his playmate to chase him. He just loves to be involved and plays really well.
He had an operation on his front paw when he was about six months old and doesn't like being touched there apart from that he just loves you to stroke and touch him.
He's a bit unsure with cats as he's met a few that don't like him, but he can be a little too inquisitive.
He will pull quite a bit on the lead if you let him. He is full of beans and would happily walk for hours - currently about 5 kms a day.
He's so loving, eager to please and trainable - just waiting for that person to come along to take him home. For updates on Louie do go tohttp://www.victoriandogrescue.org.au/dogs-for-adoption/

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adoptersâ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
