Charlie

Charlie came to our Malaga Centre as her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. After many weeks of love and care from our amazing and dedicated Veterinary team and animal attendants Charlie is now finally ready to find her forever home. Sadly Charlie had been kept in a backyard and had not been able to experience the joys of the outside world so will need a dedicated family to help her slowly adjust to her new life. It will be important for her new family to gradually and very slowly socialise and desensitise Charlie to all the new situations she may encounter and to never rush her into any situations. Because Charlie hasn't had the critical one-on-one time with people, any interactions will have to be on her terms and not forced, so that she feels comfortable and sees it as a good experience. This sweet girl will slowly gain confidence in her new home if her family take the right steps to ensure she is in a quiet and calm environment. Due to Charlie's sensitivities she would be best in a home with no children but could potentially live with another calm dog pending a meet first.
