This gorgeous boy is a pure bred Saluki and with that comes his stunning looks and fine frame.

Aslan loves his humans so much and relies on their presence to feel comfortable and at ease. In your company, he is relaxed, albeit, will be by your side to give you as many cuddles and smooches as you can handle!!

In care he has come a long way finding his independence and building confidence away from his human companions. He is the perfect example of a dog that needs some tough love. A family that wont fuss over him to help him learn he is comfortable to occupy himself. At home he currently has free range of the house and yard all day which helps with his confidence building.

He's is great with other dogs. Being part of a household with 4 large dogs he has learnt how to behave in their presence. Around new dogs he takes few minutes to warm up to them but then he enjoys having a good game of zoomies with any dog willing to take him on. He's quite quick and loves bounding around the yard.

Although he has the long legs that are ideal for running he is not super duper active. Aslan is also learning basic manners and will sit for teats and food. He's not overly food obsessed as he much prefers lounge cuddles with us people. He sleeps well at night, ideally on your bed (and under the covers if allowed!). He walks well on the leash and is obsessed with helping distract babies making them giggle all night long.

Aslan travels well in the car and would enjoy going on outings with you or running errands. A very sweet, loving boy who needs a home with people home every day and willing to take him with them when they can. He is not suited and will not cope well being left alone, especially in the early stages of going into a new home, although will be okay if left with other dogs for short periods.

If you're up for a sweet, gorgeous boy and don't mind an enthusiastic constant companion, Aslan may just be what you're looking for. We do prefer a home with breed experience or a very dog experienced home that can offer this boy continued training, socialisation, play time, exercise and confidence building so he can develop and grow in confidence.
