About Stella
This is Stella, she’s a 5/6 month old kelpie. Stella has been living with our family for about 6 weeks. Whilst she has been with us she has had 2 other kelpies that she has got along with really well.
We also have young girls whom she has loved to follow and get into whatever action they are getting into. In fact our girls absolutely adore her, and really how can you not. She is such a beautiful natured and placid dog.
Stella sits on command and we are trying to work on stay with her but is a little challenging when there are other dogs wondering what the attention is for.
Stella enjoys a run with the other 2 dogs. We like to take them for a bit of a 3 km run down at a reserve near us while we drive and she has taken a liking to that.
She has been sleeping in a crate each night and has also been spoilt sleeping inside. She is not making any mess in the crate overnight.
I’m not sure what she is like around cats or chooks. We do have horses over the back from us which I don’t believe there has been any issues.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
