Keep the world’s best pet adoption platform running!
This is probably the nicest ask you’ll receive this tax time. It’s not our style to call you up and ask for money, to fill your mailbox with begging letters and branded pens, or to recruit an army of chuggers to stop you in the street. We run our donation drives on a shoestring to maximise the impact of your gifts - to keep the world’s best pet adoption platform running, and to help save the lives of thousands of rescue pets every month. Please take one minute to help keep PetRescue here for everyone who needs us. Thank you.
Hello there. It seems you like visiting PetRescue. That's great!
It's a little awkward to ask, but we need your help. We don’t invest huge amounts of funds and resources in fundraising. We’re a small but growing team of pet-loving techies who look at the big picture and create radical change that improves outcomes for rescue pets Australia-wide. We depend on donations, but only 0.05% of visitors to the PetRescue website give. If you donate just $3, less than the price of a morning coffee, you can help keep PetRescue thriving and free for everyone who needs it. Thank you.

It feels a little awkward to say this, but we need your help.
You’re probably thinking PetRescue will be fine if you don’t give anything today. Because someone else always gives, right? But only 0.05% of visitors to PetRescue donate. And here's the thing... If every pet lover using the website donated just $15 this tax time, in less than one week we'd raise enough funds to make sure we’re here for another year - helping more people like you and thousands more rescue pets in need. So, if PetRescue is useful to you, please take a moment to help. Thank you.
Give up just one cup to help rescue pets every month.
It only takes a minute, and as little as $3 a month (a very reasonably priced coffee), to give rescue pets the very best chance of finding the love and care they need for life.

Not cat friendly
Part time worker but preferably someone home all the time.
Home with other medium/large friends.
Such a pretty blue girl, with white around her nose, down her chest and on her toes as well, she really is a stunner. She loves kisses and is such a sensitive new aged gal!
Thelma, but no Louise, just as well, as Thelma would probably like to be the only dog in her new home. In saying that she is adjusting to family life, being playful, relaxing with her foster greyhounds and safe to say she would also like the company of another medium/large canine friend, having company and a buddy to live a happy and loved filled life with. Thelma has not been tested with small dogs but has with cats and is not a lover of cats, thus a cat free home is essential.
Thelma would be happiest with someone being home most of the time, so a retiree would be ideal or a person who is home most of the time. Having the company of another dog would be ideal if her humans did work for part of the day.
As greyhounds love their sleep times, Thelma is no exception and once night time falls, and everyone is tucking into their beds for the night, Thelma will as well, sleeping right through and you wont hear from her until the morning. Our clever girl is house trained and will take herself outside when she needs to.
She has beautiful manners, walks well on lead and loves walks, exploring her new surroundings. As well as walks, she travels well in the car and enjoys outings and hops in and out of the car without assistance.
Thelma is such a sweety and will be a most beautiful addition into a home with primary/ teenager children who will appreciate her playful nature as well as her sensitive soul.
