Lena

Stunning young Lena is a 10 month old Maremma x Border Collie pup.
Lena has been settling in wonderfully with her foster family.
We asked her foster mum for some words for her profile, and this is what she had to say...
“She is shy but slowly coming out of her shell she is a typical maremma showing every maremma trait
Whilst she was a frequent barker when we first got her she only barks now when she is on duty
She sleeps nearly all night inside loves a lounge to sleep on and is more comfortable with men then women, older women she takes some time to warm up to
She is great with young children supervised
She is still a puller on a lead and would be better suited for a cheat harness
When at the beach she is hesitant with waves but is warming really quickly to water
She is a little unsure about being washed but is fine with plenty of reassurance
She needs new experiences at a slow and supported pace
She would be do excellently with another maremma or any other dog and is fine with cats
Loves hanging out with humans
Beautiful nature a little shy at first”
