Maverick

Maverick came to the RSPCA through our inspectorate as his previous owner wasn't able to care for him, he was in a poor condition when he arrived. After lots of love and care from our amazing veterinary team and animal attendants he is now ready and waiting to find their forever home! Maverick is a sweet and social boy with a sensitive side who would love a family that is able to provide gentle guidance to show him the right way to life and allowing him to settle in at his own pace so that he can gain his confidence. Because Maverick has had limited exposure to the outside world and new people, it will be important for his new family to slowly expose him to lots of new things while always keeping it positive based so that he can build good associations with new experiences. Maverick would do well with proactive owners who can provide plenty of positive training so that he can become a well mannered canine citizen. Enrolling Maverick in puppy school will not only be an important tool in training and socialisation but will also be a great bonding experience for him and his new owners. He could potentially live with another calm dog pending a meet first and would do well in a home with older children.
