About Jagger
Jagger is quite the handsome dude. A little silver at 6 years old but a spring chicken in himself. He’s lived all of his life with another Great Dane but we feel with lots of company and time to adjust he could cope on his own. He’d also likely do well with another mature easy going dog. He has met a smaller dog and did well so it’s not imperative another doggy mate is a particularly large one.
Jagger hasn’t had a lot of exposure out and about in recent years but is learning quickly to walk nicely on lead. He takes his job protecting the home rather seriously although once a visitor is given the green light he’s quite the welcoming committee wanting plenty of pats and keen to get to know everyone.
Jagger is a real chatter and is often very vocal in order to help you understand what he thinks you need to know. He’s very accustom to the comforts of the couch and sleeping inside so is toilet trained. Jagger isn’t destructive and a very good TV watching companion. We’d like to see him out and about more and feel he definitely has the potential to be a well behaved boy in public with someone who can guide him. This will be much easier for an experienced large dog handler. He doesn’t need huge walks, just a daily outing to keep life interesting and keep him healthy. Jagger loves car rides and will come along for the ride whenever it’s an option.
Jagger’s never had time off lead so this is not a lifestyle we’re seeking for him. He’s never been exposed to cats and so ideally we will avoid a home with cats. Similarly, now at 6 and not having had anything to do with children we’d only consider a home with children over 12 years.
Jagger is a typical beautiful, loyal, loving Great Dane and is very easy to have in the home to enjoy his company.
